Was Bollywood your calling since always?

Not really. My family never discussed movies at home. I was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Guzarish, that's when I developed a desire to pursue acting. It’s just this small and simple story.

How did you never appear on-screen as a child artist even though you belonged to a Bollywood family?

My family never wanted me to be in front of camera as a child. There wasn’t much about Bollywood craze in my family during my childhood.

Who all do you want to work with?

I want to work with Raju Hirani, Kabir Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and I am really looking forward to getting offers from these people.

Any dream role you would like to be recreated for you?

My all time favourite - Iron Man.

Behind the camera, what kind of person Sooraj is.

I am the perfect example of the boy next door. I'm also slightly introvert.

What all gizmos do you own and which cars proudly occupy your garage space?

I own an iPhone 6s. At present, I don’t have any cars – but wishing to get one pretty soon.
