On the path of spirituality, what hinders attainment of final goal of liberation? Of many obstructions, one cause is garvaras. Garva means to believe, ‘I am doing it’ when in reality, one is not the doer. At that moment, the interest (rasa) that arises within is garvaras. It is sweetest of all tastes in the world.
