Durga Puja is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess Durga. The victory of goddess Durga in her battle against the shape-shifting Asura, Mahishasura. The victory of good over evil, though it is also in part a harvest festival celebrating the goddess as the motherly power behind all of life and creation. Durga Puja has crossed all borders and is celebrated throughout the world by Bengali communities, there has been huge globalization in terms of the Durga idol, fashion and culture. In this edition we bring the Durga puja fashion to the world stage, the fashion is done keeping in mind the weather and the global fashion scene. We have Moubani Sorcar, Rana Mukherjee, Ankita Paul Majumdar, and Debasish Mondal for the special Durga Puja coverage. They are seen sporting the traditional handloom work sarees and punjabi which are sustainable in nature and bring Bengali Art to the world. We have given a different flavor and style to the four days of the puja and have created a perfect lookbook.
