In this issue

As the country entered into the unlock phase, we at autoX decided that it was time to get into the driver’s seat and fire the engine once again (while maintaining social distancing, of course) to bring you exciting automotive content, as always. Making headlines in our July issue are two giants – the Kia Carnival and Toyota Innova Crysta – as we set out to find the perfect people mover for Indian families. We also managed to take BMW's all-new big brute, the X6, out for a spin. It's controversial, no doubt, but it’s appealing, all the same. But should you buy it over the more practical and mechanically identical X5?
On the slightly mainstream side of things, we drove the all-new Honda City before its market launch in India, and we were quite impressed, especially by the new VTEC motor. In the two-wheeler section, we pitched the new TVS Apache RR310 BS6 against the original BS4 version to see and feel the actual difference between the two. We also tested the new VW Polo TSI with a manual gearbox, which has made it quite exciting.
Our friends at Quattroruote have done a full-fledged road-test of a very, very green looking Porsche Taycan. The verdict will surely make you fall in love with EVs. But, in case it does not, our July issue has a special feature on how Tesla and Elon Musk are planning to fit rocket thrusters in the upcoming Roadster.
But that’s not all, there is a whole lot more from the world of automobiles, motorsports, and technology.
