Together, they tell the story of an Englishman who, while living all his 35 years near his place of birth, found his home in the wide world of bodybuilding.
Super Sized Shoulders by JIM STOPPANI & DAVE LEE As the old saying goes, shoulders make the man. Even with the more showy chest and arms in the permanent glare of the spotlight, a good set of shoulders stand out in any circumstance. Shoulders are one of the few body parts that are easily visible—whether you’re on a bodybuilding stage, showing off at the beach, or fully clothed (think favourite T-shirt or a tailored suit). For a truly heroic set of shoulders, you need to build overall mass. But deltoids should be equally impressive when viewed from the front, side, or rear, so you also need to emphasise each of the three individual delt heads to ensure balanced development. Our four-week plan, split into two phases lasting two weeks each, does just that. Follow it to the letter, put everything into each workout as if it’s your last, and at the end of the programme you will be rewarded with boulder shoulders (we couldn’t resist).
