Making time to manifest could help turn your dreams into reality

The power of YOUR MIND

The practice of manifesting is more popular than ever, with online searches for this self-help method soaring in recent years. But do positive intentions really work? In his latest book, Power Manifesting, hypnotist and author Paul McKenna shares his tried-and-tested methods for getting all you want from lifeand more! He says that by removing the blocks that hold you back and taking step-by-step action, you can improve everything from your relationships to your bank balance.

image'Manifesting is imagining something and then bringing it into reality,' explains Paul. 'Think of it as a set of algorithms that unlock your dreams. Whether it's a car you've always aspired to, finding love, more money or optimising your health.' Turn over for a taster, so you can start transforming your life.

HOW TO GET WHAT YOU WANT

To manifest, you need to set clear intentions. 'If all we had to do was wish for what we want, everyone would be living in peace with no worries - but getting what you want requires action,' says Paul. 'And there's no point taking action until you're sure about what you want.

Otherwise, it's like setting off in a boat without a rudder.' So, choose five things you want from life, writing them down here:

1 REMOVE OBSTACLES
What's stopping you from living your dream life? If we believe we aren't good enough we can remain stuck, says Paul. This technique, called Havening, is the antidote to that. 'Scientific studies have shown that it is amazingly effective at relieving sadness, and reducing stress, trauma and compulsion. But it also removes both conscious and unconscious obstacles,' explains Paul.
