City roads closing for 4 months
The Herald
|July 07, 2025
A NUMBER of roads in Plymouth will be closed and parking will be suspended on others for four months as part of gas works.
Wales & West Utilities is working on a £215k investment project in the Ermington Terrace area of Plymouth. The works are essential to keep the gas flowing safely to heat and power local homes and businesses. As part of the works, it has been agreed with Plymouth City Council that traffic management will be in place, which involves a number of roads closing and parking being suspended on other streets.
Wales & West Utilities Natalie Raphael is managing this work and said: “We know that working in areas like this is not ideal, but it is essential to make sure we keep the gas flowing to homes and businesses in the area, and to make sure the gas network is fit for the future.
