IT has been a tumultuous time for Laurel as the truth about her latest beau Ray’s drug dealing and modern slavery operation was exposed.
As the drama heated up, Ray killed his accomplice Celia, who also just so happened to be his adoptive mother, in the hope that he could start a new life with Laurel, only for his own life to be snuffed out by Bear, who he had been holding captive on his farm.
And this week sees the gangster's funeral cause even more upset in the village.
