Porn mogul snaps up historic country hotel in Perthshire

A FORMER model and B Movie actress who made millions from her porn empire has, along with her daughter, taken over a Scottish hotel.

Gail and Sydney Thackray have bought the Roman Camp Hotel in Callander, Perthshire.

It is to reopen in the spring as Thackray House.

The hotel has a fascinating history with links to both British musical royalty in the form of The Beatles and old-time Hollywood with director Cecil B. DeMille.

The new owners also have a Hollywood connection.

Gail, originally from Yorkshire, built a career in Los Angeles as a model, actress and adult movie producer.

She later made millions in the phone sex business and as a pioneer of internet porn.

Her daughter partners on the project, as well as pursuing her own singing and acting career.

Earlier this year, she became the youngest person to receive a knighthood from the Pope for humanitarian service.
