"As kind het my ouma altyd die televisie op krieket gehad en my pa het aksiekrieket gespeel. Ek het gereeld saamgegaan om te kyk, dis hoe die liefde vir die sport begin het," vertel Dian.
Hy het die eerste keer 'n kolf op vierjarige ouderdom vasgehou, en teen sy laerskooldae by Oosskool het hy reeds gereeld gespeel.
