BARWELL and Griff & Coton contested this year’s Albert Robbins Plate Competition Final in the sunshine at Barwell’s immaculate Kirkby Road Ground, with the decent crowd being treated to some excellent cricket.

Griff & Coton won the toss and elected to bat, making good early progress against Barwell’s new ball attack. A solid batting display saw four of the Griff batters make it into the 20's and despite none of them going on to make a big score.
