A GROUP of charity staff, volunteers and regular service users came together to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The celebration was held at Westbank Community Health and Care’s Healthy Living Centre in Exminster.
Some of those involved were small children when the war ended, including 82-year-old Christine Winnington, from Starcross, who came up with the idea of the party.
