Jackal backs Josh berth over ‘hard to fathom’ feat

CARL FRAMPTON insists Josh Taylor deserves a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame for his “unbelievable” run as undisputed world champ.

The Tartan Tornado announced his retirement at the start of this week on medical grounds following a persistent eye injury.

Taylor won silver and gold medals at the Commonwealth Games before going on to become the first and only British male to win all four titles in the same weight division.

Now former Cyclone stablemate Frampton - himself a two-weight world champion ~ has called for 34-year-old Taylor to receive further recognition.
