Tommy hunts down top two

TOMMY FLEETWOOD will target closing the “clear gap” to Scottie Scheffler and Rory Mcllroy at the top of the world rankings this year.

World No.3 Fleetwood is chasing down the top two after winning his first PGA Tour event at the Tour Championship last year and claiming his eighth DP World Tour title in India.

The Ryder Cup star will start his campaign defending the Dubai Invitational title today with Masters champion Mcllroy also in the field.
