Your imagination is a powerful tool which, properly used, can assure success in all your undertakings. Like all great sources of power, it can produce little if left to itself. But, if properly controlled and directed, it is capable of unthought of achievements, turning the ordinary person into someone outstanding, extraordinary.

Used creatively, imagination can release our unfathomed depths of talent, skill and ingenuity.

Creativeness is not the monopoly of artists, writers and the like. You are creative when you find a better way to sweep the floor, when you reorganise your shopping to cut down walking, when you see a better method of arranging the tools in your shed.

To be useful, imagination must lead to action. We should not call upon this potent force unless we intend action to follow. If fact, we are interested only in applied imagination.

First of all, we consider the known facts. They must be listed with all their implications and without omissions. They provide the foundation which ensures that our imagination concerns itself with reality, not with fantasy.
