ctober sees World Mental Health Day and gives us the opportunity to reconsider our own mental health and hopefully, to celebrate it.
The glorious autumn palette provides uplifting colours as background for the global and individual challenges that face us all.
The masks we wore during the pandemic have been largely set aside. Isn’t it time to set aside any remaining metaphorical masks that are more like people-pleasing habits?
“How are you?”
“Fine!”
Our mental health may be masked by white lies but who suffers as a consequence?
We do.
William Shakespeare said it all so simply:
‘‘To thine own self be true.’’

Naturally, we are all absolutely thrilled by this prestigious independent recognition of excellence.
