Volgens Tharia Unwin, HUB van die Professionele Jagtersvereniging van Suid-Afrika, is hulle diep teleurgesteld oor hierdie besluit omdat daar tans geen betroubare wetenskaplike bewys is waarop die departement sy besluit gebaseer het nie. Hierdie besluit het ’n negatiewe uitwerking op internasionale jagters wat Suid-Afrika besoek en wat alreeds nie leeutrofeë vanaf Suid-Afrika na die VSA mag invoer nie weens ’n oningeligte besluit deur die VSA se vis- en wildlewediens (USFWS) ...
