So we hit up the first Drew Estate Barn Smoker of the year at a tobacco farm outside of Orlando, Florida. From there we take you to New Orleans for a taste of cigars, golf and food in and around this fabled city’s French Quarter. You’ll also get a very readable lesson in Irish whiskey, complete with some help in pairing with the best cigar, and some tips for reasonably priced smokes in these inflationary times. Our photo shoot has a Black Swan theme, and finally, we have events and more events. Time to sit back and unwind, summertime.

Here in your mitts is another blast of cigar fun. For this issue, we crossed the Atlantic, traveled to tropical islands and spent some treasured time with a real cigar pro to get his worldly story, all for you. And we can't think of a better reason. The latter delivers a where-to-go for the best golf in the U.S. territory, along with some dining tips, history, and a helpful guide to cigar smoking on the island. In the spirit of the thoroughbred season, we deliver a piece on the legendary Gulfstream Park in South Florida, then celebrate 20 years of Rocky Patel’s The Edge with some history of the well-regarded smoke. We also visit the ProCigar Festival 2023 in the Dominican Republic and give you the day-by-day in case you’re pondering a trip next year. All this goodness, plus the reliably solid ratings, events, and – not to be underestimated – the cover feature.

The second issue of 2023 takes you places. You start the journey in Honduras, where we visit Oscar Valladares to hear his fascinating saga, starting as a tourism student all the way to founding his own cigar company. We make a call to Emmy-winning television foodie Guy Fieri to talk about how his Knuckle Sandwich cigar is representing a whole new style of flavortown. Then we check in with some of our cigar friends in southwest Florida, where they are recovering from last fall’s Hurricane Ian with their heads held high. We also report from the Puro Sabor Festival in Nicaragua, filling you in on the high points of the celebrated event. Add in a Father’s Day gift guide, 5 to Try aged rums and more of the usual cigar freshness, and you’ve got something to dig into for weeks to come.

The Top 25 cigars of 2022 leads our first issue of the year, a road map to the  stars of the year past, with a removable list of the esteemed cigars to hang on to when you go shopping. Also this issue, we provide some road guidance for the upcoming year with a catalog of some of the better events this year, ranging from golf outings to music festivals to, of course, the best of the cigar bashes. Then we talk with music producer Jack Douglas – he’s the man that delivered “Walk this Way” to ears around the world, among other cultural treasures – about his discovery and embrace of cigars. This is the start of another year of some great reading with Cigar Snob, and we’re glad to have you with us.

We’re ready for the holidays and, thanks to the gift guide in this November/December issue, so are you. We then head to Branson, Missouri for…you thought we were going to say country music, but we’re there for the golf, which the region has in amazing abundance. Also, we talk with former NFL hero Charles Woodson about the game and his love of fine wine, and we profile French accessory maker S.T. Dupont, which celebrates 150 years of producing luxe goods this year. And don’t forget the usual cover loveliness.

Here it is, more cultural goodness in time for the start of autumn.  Our September/October issue features travel, from the Research Triangle of North Carolina to the prospering tobacco regions of Honduras. We also talk with sports agent Leigh Steinberg, who is typically candid as he speaks on LIV golf and the future of sports betting. Add in a 5 to Try with some fine South American reds and the usual stunning cover art, and you’ve got some solid reading material for the fall.

The July/August issue is 100 pages of the freshest cigar knowledge out there, starting with the stunning cover shoot. We trek to the 100+ degree desert of the American Southwest to take in an excellent Palm Springs cigar lounge with a casino around it, talk with a Jeopardy! champ about his cigar knowledge, beef up our Inflation Buster cigar ratings, created for these inflationary times, and give you a deep dive into the PCA trade show in Las Vegas. That plus all the usual goodness, including events and pairings, makes this issue the place to be.

Our March/April issue is all about tropical island warmth. We head to the Caribbean for a double-barreled photo shoot, one set on white-sanded beaches and another in the cozy coves and lagoons of the islands. The visuals are accompanied by a travel narrative that sets the pace for any visit to Curacao, a spot that packs plenty to do on its 170 square miles. We also visit with Richard Seale, whose Foursquare rum distillery on the island of Barbados is a destination for those with a taste for the real deal. Back to the mainland, we break down the latest report from the feds on premium cigar regulation, and it’s encouraging. Events keep picking up, and among the photos of people smoking and getting out, we provide a full account of this year’s ProCigar Festival in the DR. We give you rum, beaches, smokes and more.
