Innovation and fair value in watchmaking come in for scrutiny in the latest issue of WOW. Informed by the most recent watch fairs, the editorial team investigates which of the 2022 novelties features the most interesting watchmaking technology, and which watches and brands have gotten it right over the last decade. The Tissot PRX Chronograph shines brightly on our cover, as a symbol of how traditional brands can create timepieces that are appealing to collectors, new and old.

WOW returns from several horological missions to Switzerland with the latest news and novelties from Watches and Wonders Geneva - and beyond.  More than 100 pages on all the new timepieces and emerging watchmaking trends await in the issue, alongside interviews with the top dogs of the industry. On the cover is the TAG Heuer Monaco Special Edition, reaffirming this icon's status as a paradoxical superstar. 

As Watches & Wonders unfolds in Geneva, explore how the new novelties might impact the exploding watch market. The Spring issue dedicates more than 50 pages to the subject of so-called investment grade watches, looking at it from the perspective of collectors, and examining the reality of scarcity and exclusivity. WOW also celebrates the Blancpain Air Command, a superb example of fine watchmaking and traditional craftsmanship.

In place of our usual fun timepieces section, each editor has selected a couple of watches  to buy; two of them really put their weight behind their recommendations... The Festive issue also salutes Parmigiani Fleurier, with the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor on the cover.

This Autumn issue is our first stab at covering sustainability across multiple facets in watchmaking, zeroing in on transparency. We have dedicated more than 50 pages to facts, figures, opinions and fantastic visuals to support this.

In the aftermath of the recently concluded Watches & Wonders, we bring you the best-in-show, so far. Our cover star is the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Tribute to Ref. 844, which fronts a collection that is often overlooked. The fact that this reference is in titanium complements our special focus, represented by more than 50 pages on material innovations, titanium in particular.

It is our first issue of 2021, our 20th year of continuous publication. Our cover features the Breguet Classique Double Tourbillon 5345 Quai de l’Horloge while inside, we close out our look at watch bands with a 30-page special. The final instalment in our year-long exploration of this subject gets into leather, rubber and fabric straps, put together with both the best in contemporary technology and the skills of artisans honed over centuries. 

The all-new Longines Spirit collection helps us get into the mood for 2021. In this Festive issue of WOW Singapore, we explore the idea of fun in watchmaking, from crazy tickers to incredible naming conventions. Hear from the top men of the trade on doing business in the most unusual of times, including Thierry Stern for Patek Philippe and Nicolas Baretzki for Montblanc.

The Autumn issue of  WOW Singapore plays with the idea of transparency, from the the Chanel J12 X-Ray cover star to the enduring yet perplexing appeal of the dive watch. Our 30-page special gets to the bottom of this horological mystery.

With the Summer issue of WOW Singapore, the team lays the groundwork for subjects that will occupy the magazine for years to come. Issue 57 is marked by  the first-ever double watch cover feature in more than five years: the TAG Heuer Carrera 160 Years Limited Editions.

WOW Spring 2020 grapples with current affairs, while considering the virtues of watch bracelets, which is the focus of the issue. The cover star is the Rado Captain Cook, itself offered with a handsome bracelet option.

WOW Festive 2019 ponders the rise of the sports watch, presenting a 20-page special on the subject. Illustrating the variety here is the cover watch, the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere, which itself happens to imply an active and adventurous lifestyle.

WOW Autumn 2019 shines the spotlight on technical timepieces, including cover star the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon 5. The deep dive into the mechanical escapement begins here.

The WOW Summer 2019 issue is out now, this time with a strong focus on BaselWorld novelties. We also have A Time to Move covered. The star of the issue is bronze, with the material making its presence felt at virtually every price point.

The WOW Spring 2019 issue is out now, packed with the most recent novelties for the current year. Our SIHH report adds a little depth and flavor to what you may have already seen online. You'll also want to look out for our massive interview with watch business titan Jean-Claude Biver.

For World of Watches Autumn issue 2018, we address watchmaking in the context of high mech high tech fields of aeronautics and automobiles – so universally popular because it plays to our primal instincts, triggering the pleasure centres of our brains.

WOW's latest edition is an adventure into the heart of watchmaking conundrums. This issue corrects misconceptions about casemaking, studies the new genre of "Quickstarter" brands and how they're redefining entry level watchmaking; and finally, providing insights to the true provenance of the Girard Perregaux Laureato

2018 is off to a positive note and while it was noted in a previous issue about one brand beginning to accept cryptocurrencies, it looks like increasing revenues have ended such notions for many of the CEOs. That said, while markets are recovering, it looks like the US is still in the doldrums and we have reports which explain the nature and substance of the recovery and the state of the industry. In this issue, we also address how historical re-issues are a nice Cliff Notes summary for newcomers to heritage watchmaking and that while the last three decades have been mostly about ever increasing wizardry on the movements, we're finally seeing some innovation in cases, bracelets and even the faces of the watches. Finally, it looks like GPHG revival prize finally went to the least expected but the most deserving - Longines.

On our cover, the Montblanc Rally Timer is a symbol of the initial resistance and subsequent acquiescence of watchmakers in adopting 21st century manufacturing techniques while preserving ancient traditions. The finishing and decorative metiers are definitely old school while other measures such as quality control and even materials exemplify the modern age we live in.

In WOW Singapore #46, we survey the innovations reshaping traditional watchmaking for the 21st century. Our technical issue also turns its attention to the heavens, contemplating the most recent and noteworthy astronomical complications, with a special emphasis on the humble moon phase indication. Speaking of moon phases, our cover features the A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Moon Phase while the cover story delves into the 2017 offerings from this redoubtable German manufacture.

Our summer issue takes you diving with the Panerai Submersible range. See how the Officine range has come a long way.  Plus photospreads with timepieces that are one with nature,  sports-mad and a cool selection for the music aficionado. 

The Spring issue of WOW is anchored by the 2017 Geneva Report, and includes a retrospective of the Omega Speedmaster, plus photospreads showcasing vintage as well as current models.
