As we head into the middle of the year in Malaysia, it seems that we enjoy one celebration after
another. From the festivities of Hari Raya Puasa and Malaysia’s Independence Day to the cultural
touchstones of the Hungry Ghost Festival and the Mid-Autumn Harvest, or the Mooncake
Festival as it’s popularly known, it’s a great time of year.
Here at Essential, we’re doing a bit of celebrating ourselves. We’re
commemorating our first full year in Kuala Lumpur as the
