Our Front & Female issue has a great lineup of exciting, trail-blazing individuals who broke ground for many others. Hot on the news of the constitutional amendment of granting automatic citizenship rights for children born to Malaysian mothers overseas, we have Family Frontiers' president Suriani Kempe as well as activist Rekha Sen on the cover. Both have been individually profiled by Tatler for this very topic, but this time they are featured through a unique lens where they share a conversation about personal events of their lives, and what it means to be a woman today. And even though women's rights are breaking headwinds, their conversation reveals that there are still many wrongs to address. Also featured are Dr Premitha Damodaran, the ob-gyn who spearheaded the clinical practice guidelines for menopause in Malaysia; Jade Lee, a banker turned social entrepreneur who lends her marketing expertise to boost the monthly income of women-led microenterprises; as well as Salleh Sepas, an Afghan director and playwright who advocates for gender equality and Afghan's women's rights.
