Both the upper and lower auditorium of the Yangon University Convocation hall were full. All attendances wore smiles of joy and excitement. In a moment a tall, brown skinned man in a crew cut hair style steped on to the stage and was welcomed by a crescendo of applause and a battery of camera flashlights. The scene was at the Yangon University convocation hall in 2012 November when the American President Obama made a historic visit there. There were many reasons why the Myanmar audience heartily welcome the leader of the country that had laid a sanction on them for decades. There ware more prominent reasons than factors such as because he was a leader of a super power and another factor was that Myanmar wanted to reduce the influence of China that had been playing havoc over its national policy.
