Our April/May 2016- The Knowledge issue wouldn’t be complete without giving the encyclopedia of the digital age, Wikipedia some thought, and so we interview Wiki founder Jimmy Wales to learn what became of his dreams to make sure everyone in the world has free access to knowledge. Next up is a visit the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, which, in its three decades of existence, still serves as the beacon for education on the Arab world, and its cultures, and a chat with PETA about how successful their campaigns promoting the ethical treatment of animals are in the fashion industry as well as a review Gisele's 20-year long career in modelling through her latest book with Taschen. The Knowledge theme also has us travelling far and wide - from a stunningly serene Seashore Library designed by Vector architects in China, onto Arita in Japan to uncover the history of porcelain-making and then Rome for its lesser known sights, which are hidden treasures away from tourist traps.
