Highlights of India Today 18th March 2019, issue:
The March 18, 2019 issue of India Today magazine is all about the 18th India Today conclave that was held in Delhi last week. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shashi Tharoor to Kangana Ranaut and Ranveer Singh, the conclave was attended by prestigious and prominent personalities of politics, entertainment world and sports.
The conclave comes at a time when the nation was abuzz with an ongoing crisis-India and Pakistan were the closest they had been to war since the 2001 attack on Parliament.
The theme of the conclave was 'Hard Choices' this year. The issue points out Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hardest choice by authorising the first air strike inside Pakistan since the 1971 war, in response to the deadliest terrorist attack on our security forces in the Valley.
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Shashi explained the phenomenon of Hinduism and Hindutva in context of the present political scenario in the country.
The issue also comes with two supplements: Spice and Simply Kolkata
