In \'Nation\' section itself, Rajya Sabha deputy chairman PJ Kurien\'s case of Suryanelli has been written. The increasing number of honour killings in Tamil Nadu and the Dalit angle to it has been coverd in a story on Honour Killings. This story has been accompanied by the column written by Managing Editor Rajeev PI.

The recent Oscar nominated singer \'Bombay\' Jayasree\'s profile has been carried. A spcial report on how the bandit\'s khilla Chambal Valley has been turning into development path.

In regional section, a special story on Sharmila Reddy, younger sister of the jailed YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan reddy has been carried. A story on Kolleru lake, which has been under the threat of land grabbing was carried.
