That two students were murdered by the activist of Campus friend, an off shoot of NDF, which has been active in the sate promoting communal feelings .They are unapologetic in the killing and all set to defend the culprits, which shows the dangerous turn the campus politics has turned into. The story has interviews of prominent student leaders, column by a poet and teacher Muse Mary George. The killing exposes how our youngisthan has been deliberately changed into fanatics with great zeal. The issue also looks at the paradox of selling of toddy in Kerala-which is double the amount of toddy produced in the state. The high courts warning and the politicians reluctance to stop the production adds woes to the problem. The supreme court order not to have pilgrimage or tourism in the tiger reserves has affected pilgrimage to Shabarimala, which has been in existence time immemorial, The issue also looks at the green terror duo ministers of environment and forests Jayanthi Natrajan and Jairam Ramesh who have been denying licenses to the industries like Vedantha or postponing the same. There is also a very touching investigation into the arms carrying terrorist confined to their camps in teh north east without any engagement. the issue also looks at the saffron leaders who could try their luck for prime minister ship if the party wants them to. Ramnsingh, Shivarj Singh Chouhan,Vasundhare raje are some of the aspirants beside Narendra Modi himself.DMKs predicament and Nithish Kumar's problems of plenty are the other issues of importance. Manik Sarkar of Tripura, the leader of the CPI-Ms last bastion is also profiled in the issue .There is also a very touching story of Sushama Badhu who reused to wear juggat in the village of Dhani miyan khan in Haryana.Issues in the marketing of cardomon ,which is very sensitive issue in Idukki ditrict of kerala, problems of kerala football are some of the other stories

The issue also features English Vinglish where Sree Devi gives her sterling performance and reviews the book Bhoothakazchkal of Sudheesh Raghavan. Anoushka, Lakshmi Rai,Hansika,Meghna raj,Amal Paul ,Sunaina Anjali patil,Vijaylakshmi,and Mahesh Bhatt are also featured here. So is the birth of the baby girl of actor Swetha Menon which was filmed live. New era of reality show!
