Magazine Description

In this issue

Across the world, we are witnessing a massive transformation in every aspect of our lives owing to the ongoing pandemic. There has been a drastic change in the way we communicate, work and lead our lives. But having said that, we all have no other option than accepting the “new normal” both in our social and professional life. There is no denying that technological advancements have played a major role in helping us get through the lockdown, and it will continue to play a crucial role both at home and workplace, providing us solutions to deal with the common problems in the challenging times. With that in mind, we have reviewed five mobile applications that everyone must check out. For instance, 1mg app helps you understand your prescription medicines by letting you know their composition, uses, side effects, substitutes and more, whereas AI-powered Ada helps you understand what could be possibly wrong if you are feeling unwell. Another app called Wakeout features hundreds of fun, home exercises to interrupt your sedentary lifestyle. The app basically reminds you to take short “active” breaks during the day and perform only 30-second long exercise at a time. In the pages to follow, we have also tried to address questions like “Can air sensors one day detect COVID-19”, “How can technology help track health of employees at workplace”, “The ways the future of work will change in the post COVID-19 world”, and many more similar questions.
