In this issue

Desh 2 October 2022 issue unveils selected letters written by Lady Ranu Mukherjee to Rabindranath Tagore, which were previously unpublished. These letters to her `Bhanudada', signed off as `Ranu', unfold not just the endearing relationship between the Nobel Laureate and Lady Ranu, but also throw new light on unknown chapters in their lives. They reveal the close periphery of their world that includes shades of daily experience, its sights and sounds and its instantaneous moods and feelings. Lady Ranu Mukherjee was on the threshold of adolescence when the poet met her.
These letters show the innocence of a child, reflected through a jovial
atmosphere. The letters have been compiled and annotated by Baridbaran Ghosh. There is a travelogue on Turpan by Rathin Chakraborty. The issue includes regular sections like the serialised novel 'Kanchanfuler Kobi' by Masud Ahmad, Mantabya, Granthalok, Shilpo Sanskriti, Galpo, Chithipatra, Seshkatha etc.
