In this issue

The 2nd December 2019 issue of DESH is a special issue. This is Galpo Sankhya consisting of 10 short stories by eminent Bengali Contemporary Writers.
The writers include Samaresh Majumdar, Joy Goswami, Tilottama Majumdar, Sangeeta Bandyopadhyay, Smaranjit Chakraborty, Pracheta Gupta, Krishnendu Mukhopadhyay, Amitabha Samajpati, Sayantani Putatunda and Shekhar Mukhopadhyay.

The lead story of Mantabya section is on the political drama and all the ups and downs of Marathi politics and Maharashtra Government formation written by Sumit Mitra.

There is an article by Pathik Guha on the seventy fifth anniversary of the publication of a special book.

There is a travelogue by Rathin Chakraborty on Lake Baikal.

The column of Sumit Mitra is continuing as well.

This issue contains the serial novel ‘Alokrekha’ written by eminent author Samaresh Majumdar.

The serial novel named 'Beej Mantra' on the life of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the legendary Bengali novelist is continuing as well.

The other sections like Granthalok, Shilpo Sanskriti, Galpo, Kabita are also included in the current issue.
