Jakarta (TROBOSAQUA.COM). The Alliance of Communities for Kedaulatan (Amuk) Bahari expressed its refusal to seize the living space of coastal communities through zoning regulations.



Amuk Bahari, which consists of a number of civil society organizations in Indonesia, expresses its rejection of the coastal, sea and small islands spatial planning, which is called the Zoning Plan for Coastal Areas and Small Islands (RZWP3K).



They rejected RZWP3K because this rule legitimized and perpetuated the seizure of the living space of coastal communities in Indonesia. Deprivation occurs through a number of development projects such as reclamation, sand and oil and gas mining, debt-based tourism industry, debt-based conservation, oil palm plantations, and infrastructure development for ports and the maritime industry.
