Diungkapkan  Agus Poernomo, pembudidaya pembenihan lele asal Kabupaten Kediri-Jawa Timur, performa pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan yang tinggi, disokong nutrisi dari pakan yang diberikan.
Menunjang performa terbaik, nutrisi yang paling diutamakan pembudidaya adalah protein. “Contoh saja di pembibitan (pembenihan). Faktor utama pakan di pembibitan lele biasanya proteinnya yang tinggi, sehingga pertumbuhannya cepat,”

"Ini kita kawal from zero to hero," ujar Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Daya Saing Produk Kelautan dan Perikanan (PDSPKP), Artati Widiarti, Kamis (9/12/2021).

 

Artati mengungkapkan, dalam menjalankan usahanya, eksportir PT. Bartuh Langgeng Abadi melibatkan orang asli Papua (OAP) dengan jalan membeli hasil tangkapan nelayan lokal yang tergabung dalam Koperasi Kamora Abadi. Bahkan, eksportir tersebut mempekerjakan OAP dalam dalam mengoperasionalkan Unit Pengolahan Ikan (UPI).
"Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan terus berupaya untuk memberikan dukungan dan kemudahan kepada pelaku usaha, baik dalam hal perijinan berusaha maupun dalam hal permodalan," sambungnya.
