In this issue

Our cover star this issue is the Sunshine and Shadow Charm Quilt by Chris Franses; it’s also a great stashbuster if you don’t have any charm packs. Everyone has a lovely ombré batik in their stash and the Bargello Mini Wall Hangings just need one fat quarter of a fancy fabric. The Chain of Squares Runner is just the thing to keep your toes warm at night, or add a bit of stylish detail to the end of your bed. Again, make it scrappy if you want. The Sail Away Beach Bag makes great use of a large-scale border print while Stuart’s block this month in Stashbusting makes a wonderful quilt.

The Scottish Quilting Show in Glasgow was one of the last of the main quilt shows to manage to still go ahead this spring and Joanna O’Neill tells us all about the winning quilts. We also find out about Vivian Suter and her recent exhibition while Sheilah Daughtree was lucky enough to go along to an open day showcasing new Liberty Fabrics at Winterbourne House near Birmingham. Cecilia Slinn shows us her First and Last quilts and we meet Roding Quilters in Introducing.
