The year 2014 was marked by a range of personalities gracing the DARPAN Cover. From NASA astronaut Sunita Williams to UBC President Arvind Gupta, DARPAN has showcased personalities that are significantly contributing their expertise to various fields. This issue showcases a personality that has vowed to end the vile trade of trafficking from Nepal. For the past two decades, Anuradha Koirala has been rescuing women and girls from trafficking along with empowering them through programmes at her organization Maiti Nepal.
