Savouring Luxury with SriLankan Airlines
India Outbound|November - December 2023
Almost all airlines come with a business class cabin, with equipment and amenities that are now fairly standard. What separates one airline from another is the personal touch and the service of the airline staff. Here, few can match the warmth and welcome extended by SriLankan Airlines.
Savouring Luxury with SriLankan Airlines

It was past midnight when we boarded the aircraft at Bandaranaike International Airport at Colombo. Though the lights had been dimmed, I could see the welcoming and warm ambience of the business class cabin and with a gentle smile, the airhostess guided me to my seat. After helping me stow my hand bags in the bin above, she vanished, only to return moments later, with a choice of beverages nearly arranged in a tray.

Taking a glass of freshly-poured champagne, a Joseph Perrier, as I began to sit down, I seemed to sink comfortably into the broad, genuine leather seat whose ergonomics quickly adapted to the shape of my body and I sat back comfortably sipping on my champagne.

Before the push back began, I had time enough to look around. I was in a modern Airbus A330 aircraft, where the business class cabin was organised in a way that enhanced privacy and comfort, offering plenty of room while seated and a completely flatbed that stretched to 180°.
