The 26-year-old picked up where he left off from the previous campaign by showcasing his goal-scoring prowess while chipping in with several assists, to stake his claim as one of the league's best players this season.

Following his form in front of goal for Sundowns, Ribeiro can only grow from strength to strength in the new campaign.

Mofokeng has been a revelation for Pirates and was by far their best player last season. Mofokeng, who is only in his third season with Pirates, is the name on everyone's lips as he entertains the crowd and puts fear in defenders' eyes with his dazzling skills and keen eye for goal. The 20-year-old plays a key role in the Buccaneers' setup and has proven to be a reliable asset to the team as he continues to develop his game, but it will be hard for Pirates to keep him on their books following his impressive performance throughout the 2024/25 season.
