Stewart Reading-Brown shares his tips behind his amazing star trail from Sussex

This image ws captured just outside Henfield in West Sussex. There's so much I enjoy about this photo. It's not every day you come across a dead tree rooted in a dew pond, let alone with clear sight lines to the north. That combination made it an ideal location for a star trail. With no wind, the pond was a perfect mirror, doubling the rotation of the stars and creating an even more striking result. My aim was simply to come away with a clean star trail, paired with a full reflection in the dew pond.
