Terminal closed after it was 'hit by ferry'

A TERMINAL was closed at Holyhead port after apparently being hit by a ferry in "severe weather conditions".
-
The incident happened on Friday and Terminal 5 was closed as a "precautionary measure" before a full assessment is carried out.
This comes almost exactly one year after the port was forced to halt sailings for weeks after damage to Terminal 3 was sustained in Storm Darragh.
Terminal 5 is normally used by Stena ships with Irish Ferries on Terminal 3. The ferry operators are sharing one berth temporarily.
