Kindness of our readers brought joy to hundreds of children

Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, our readers and supporters, we have been able to give thousands of presents to children in Wales this Christmas who otherwise wouldn’t have anything.

It is the third year we've run our Christmas toy appeal and it’s safe to say, it has been the biggest ever, and utterly blown any previous year's appeal out of the water.

This year we were supporting three fabulous charities, Canolfan Pentre in Rhondda, Noddfa in Caerau, Bridgend, and the DPJ Foundation.

We wanted to make sure that children whose families are finding things hard right now would have something to open on Christmas Day because no matter what happens, every child should get to smile on Christmas Day.
