Ospreys 'close' to signing the new PRA - Bradley

|May 22, 2026
OSPREYS chief Lance Bradley says the region is yet to sign the latest Professional Rugby Agreement (PRA) offered to them by the Welsh Rugby Union, but there "aren't any problems" with it and an agreement is close.
After refusing to sign up to the agreement in May in last year, both the Ospreys and Scarlets were officially offered the latest version, PRA 25, by the union last month.
Both sides are currently signed up to an old agreement, which runs out in 2028.
While they are still yet to put pen to paper on the new deal, which lasts until 2030, they are now expected to join Cardiff and Dragons on PRA 25 agreements.
Negotiations for PRA 25 have come against the backdrop of the WRU's proposals to reduce the number of Welsh regions from four to three, something it is now aiming to achieve in time for the 2028/29 season.
