FOLLOWING last weekend's bumper schedule, only Taunton Pistols took the mound on Sunday in the South West & Wales Baseball League.

Travelling to Exeter Spitfires, Pistols faced results similar to the reverse fixture at the end of April as the hosts took the sweep 18-10 and 11-10.
Spitfires are the only undefeated team in the Wessex Division and headed into the weekend with an 8-0 record, while the Pistols were looking to continue their solid start of 5-3.
The first game saw veteran Exeter pitcher Tony Watson taking on rookie Archie Ginbey who was making his debut on the mound for the Pistols. The visitors jumped into an early lead, scoring five runs in the first inning and limiting Spitfires to three.
