POLICE APPEAL AFTER ATTACK

A 61-YEAR-OLD man is in a critical condition in hospital after a serious assault outside a village pub in the early hours of yesterday.
South Wales Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for information to help them find a 28-year-old suspect.
The incident occurred at approximately 1am outside The Church Inn on Newport Road, Old St Mellons, Cardiff. A cordon remained in place outside the pub yesterday morning with multiple officers at the scene.
