French playmaker is officially a Black Cat

SUNDERLAND have rubber stamped the arrival of French playmaker Enzo Le Fee after the 25-year-old agreed a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light following promotion to the Premier League.

A win over Sheffield United in the Championship play-off final saw the Black Cats obligation to buy clause met, having agreed an undisclosed fee with AS Roma back in January, understood to be in the region of £19.3m.

After signing for the Black Cats on a permanent transfer, Le Fee said: "I said before the Play-Off Final that my heart was in Sunderland - I wanted to stay, and this made it the most important game of my life. Together, we did it.

"From the moment I arrived, I have enjoyed my football, my team-mates, and our supporters. We shared an incredible experience, and now we get to take the next step.
