Argyle are closing in on a deal for midfielder Ralls

PLYMOUTH
Argyle are close to agreeing a new contract with experienced midfielder Joe Ralls, head coach Tom Cleverley has confirmed, writes Chris Errington.Ralls is currently on a short-term contract up to and including the Pilgrims' game against Burton Albion at Home Park on Sunday, January 4 after joining them as a free agent in November.
The 32-year-old former Cardiff City captain has made a positive impact, both on the pitch and among his teammates in the dressing room.
Cleverley gave an update on the situation surrounding Ralls during a Press conference at Home Park.
The Pilgrims’ boss said: “We have had positive talks with Rallsy and his representative. We are hoping that one will be done certainly before the weekend, so pretty soon.”
