Fuel prices rise by P1.20 as supply woes, sanctions tighten global trade

Gasoline and diesel prices have climbed steadily over the past two months, with another increase of more than P1 per liter scheduled for Tuesday, November 18.

Oil firms like Shell Pilipinas, CleanFuel, PetroGazz and Seaoil announced a P1.20-per-liter hike for both gasoline and diesel, while kerosene prices will remain unchanged.
Barely three weeks into November, gasoline prices have already gone up by P3.40 per liter, and diesel by a steeper P4.90. This stands as the largest month-to-date increase in fuel prices since June.
In effect, motorists are paying close to P4 to P5 more for every liter of gasoline or diesel than they were in October.
