BBM's and Duterte's "Ides of March"
The Freeman

WHAT MATTERS MOST
Just as Julius Caesar was stabbed in the back in the fifteenth day of March, BBM is being betrayed by a number of hitherto political allies. This administration is being perceived as a lame duck. Characters like his own sister, Senator Imee, and Chavit Singson, the new Brutus, are cracking the Solid North. The political winds are blowing the opposite way.
Then comes the war in Iran. There is an oil crisis. One hundred percent of our oil requirements come from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq. With the Strait of Hormuz being blocked, we shall run out of oil and gas. Our economy will stop, and the supply chain is disrupted. Prices of food are spiraling, inflation is on a runaway trajectory, the national debt is at P17 trillion, employment is down. More than two million OFWs may be coming home. Karma is bad for the BBM administration.
