HC Allows Disabled Candidates to Apply for Office Assistant Posts

In an interim relief for disabled candidates, Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has allowed petitioners to submit their applications for the post of office assistant grade-3 (trainee) which is being filled by Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company.

The petitioners, who are 100 per cent disabled, challenged the mandatory requirement of passing the CPCT (computer proficiency certification test) exam arguing that in other government recruitment processes, a relaxation of three years is granted for obtaining the certificate, but in their case, it's not.
