Police close property at centre of drug activity

A FLAT in Chester which had become a hub of drug-activity has been closed down by police.
Officers from Chester's Neighbourhood Team have secured a three-month closure order against the troubled property in the Hoole area of the town.
On Thursday, June 12, officers from Chester's Neighbourhood South Team were granted a three-month closure order at Chester Magistrates' Court against the property that caused considerable disruption and anguish for residents of Thirlmere Road in Hoole.
Local officers had attended the property numerous times in relation to anti-social behaviour and the property being used as a hub for drug-dealing and drug use, with over 55 individual incidents recorded at the address since the beginning of 2025.
