Busking violinist stars in orchestral extravaganza

CHESTER Town Hall played host to a glittering evening of music recently, headlined by one of the city’s best loved buskers, with two more performances set to take place on Saturday (May 24).

Talented violinist Philip Chidell, who is often seen performing in the shadow of Chester's Eastgate Clock swapped street for stage for a concert featuring his own 18-piece orchestra. Joined by a line-up of special guests, Philip presented a joyous and uplifting evening of music in the spirit of André Rieu’s famed musical spectaculars.
