But behind the legal proceedings lies a high-stakes political negotiation—one that could involve Pakistan's powerful military establishment, led by Army Chief General Asim Munir.
LEGAL FRONT
PTI's legal team, led by Gohar Ali Khan, has stated that the court could potentially grant bail to both Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi. The couple was convicted in the Al-Qadir Trust case, which accuses them of misusing charitable donations for personal gain. PTI has repeatedly argued that the charges are politically motivated and designed to keep Khan from returning to political life.
