Horden start life in top-flight with defeat to Rangers

Northern League Division Two champions Horden CW kicked off life in the top tier with a trip to last season's third-placed side Boro Rangers and gave a strong account of themselves in defeat.
A double from Jack Pounder threatened to earn a share of the spoils before late goals from Charlie Graham and Callum Hickman ensured a 4-2 win for the home side.
Elsewhere In Division One, Guisborough Town got their campaign off to a winning start with Nathan Haslam's men seeing off Cleator Cup runners-up Easington Colliery 2-1 thanks to goals from Muzzy Abdullahi and Elliott Beddow at Welfare Park.
In Division Two, Prudhoe YC Seniors and Sunderland RCA played out a goalless draw.
